it all started with this dinner at chinatown, where we had korean food.
lisa asked if we would prefer chicken or pork for this bim bam bap dish (pardon me if i got it wrong). and i told her ''chicken! not too much pork please"
they were curious and i just quote what hazel said to me.
unconsciously, she has successfully imprinted her ridiculous thought at the back of my head.
here's what she say (no offence pls!)
"hey do you realise why chinese are generally uglier? because they eat too much pork, so much that they are begining to look like pigs."
we had a very good laught about it and lisa went "trust a University student (me) to say that"
during that time, liang accidentally ate a fish cake because of joyce's carelessness.
and we laughed about how she will be transformed into a vegetable, with fins because she's a vegetarian.
all these stupid jokes inspired me: You are what you eat.
and it lead on to a big idea. an unattainable one which may make our money grow.
forget about these unrealistic dreams.
the thing is, hazel's words linger in my head for a long time.
I thought she's so ridiculously hilarious but i never thought how much her words has influenced me until yesterday.
Qing n i went over to KFC and we ordered the 'buddy meal' which consists of two pieces of chicken, fish zinger, sides n drinks.
i ate the fish zinger and i had a very uncomfortable feeling about it.
i couldn't describe this discomfort, its not the feeling of having over-stuffed yourself with food.
UNTIL I BURPED. i think i smell like a chicken.
fuck. i smell like KFC chicken.
yes. the catch is i did not even eat chicken. i ate FISH ZINGER, for goodness sake.
but oh wells, i'm going to cut down on mean.
GO VEGETARIAN!
