i am weird, fabulously old, lonely, crappy, hostile, boring, introverted, TOO cool, round, schizophrenic! i am everything my friends want me to be!
i realise i only blog when i am either upset or plain bored.

i can't be bored considering the amount of workload.
i am just feeling a little upset right now because i have troubles working with people.
just two days ago, i went for this workshop to generate ideas for YO opening.
i thought its really bad, a total waste of time, and its disappointing to see fellow schoolmates generating ideas which reflect a lack of creativity.
because theirs were very much modelled like a ndp(parade).
this guy in my group suggested having a mascot.
a mascot can be really cool, but not when the mascot is like a female version of the mascot of courtesy campaign, wearing olympic rings around the limbs?
i was totally against it but i didn't voice it out.
cos i was utterly shocked when this other animator supported it and found it really interesting.
there's this other time, when my group members insisted on kickstarting the opening with people sliding down into this pool of "laksa". left me speechless again.

i am particularly upset, not with them of course, but with myself.
i am not fighting for my idea. worse still, i am not fighting against those silly ideas.
maybe i am not suitable for group work.
i simply cant bring myself to criticise their ideas.
maybe i am just being too individualistic.

it happened again just an hour ago. we are supposed to do this flipbook. due wed morning.
my group members only want to do it during the next two days.
wanlin, i can understand, because she really doesn't have a com. but the other guy?
the reason why i did not do an animation of a boy aging, growing old and everything is because its plain tedious, and there is a lack of personality.
it could have been done a thousand times?
i really cant bring myself doing such a thing, even though my group members are all for it.

again, i didn't retaliate.
personally, i dont think the animation matters.
whats more important is making more than just a useless flipbook?
a notebook. and allowing everyone to personalise it.
i really want to make things that i like.
things that i can use, keep and feel proud of it.
but i don't see myself going in that direction.
and it really upsets me.

"just go crazy over these work"
yes. i shall get passionately crazy over school work.
